Rooftop Power Co. (“Rooftop Power,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) explains in this Privacy Policy how we collect, use, share, and protect personal information when you use the Rooftop Power app, website, claim and invite pages, and related services (the “Service”).
1. Scope
This Policy covers information processed through the Service for our referral program and related operations. It does not cover third-party websites or apps that we do not control.
2. Information we collect
Account and profile: email, password (via our auth provider), display name, role, and optional payout settings (for example PayPal email or, if enabled, an XTRM account number).
Referral and project: customer name, phone, email, address, notes, program type, pipeline status, claim tokens, and assigned sales rep.
Payouts: redemption amounts, method, status, destination snapshots, and audit history.
Device and usage: device/OS, IP and browser data on web, security logs, optional push tokens, and Google Places autocomplete input when used for addresses.
Communications: support emails and in-app feedback.
3. How we use information
- Create and secure accounts.
- Run referrals, assign leads, track milestones, and show progress.
- Let customers claim projects via link or QR code.
- Queue and record referral payouts.
- Send optional push or email notices.
- Operate staff tools and configured CRM/webhook integrations.
- Prevent fraud, improve the Service, and meet legal obligations.
4. How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We may share it with service providers (hosting, auth, notifications, Places), payment providers (for example PayPal), authorized Rooftop Power staff, configured CRM or automation tools, advisors or authorities when required by law, and a successor in a corporate transaction.
5. Retention
We keep information as long as needed to provide the Service, run payouts and audits, meet legal and tax obligations, and resolve disputes. Referral and payout records may be retained for business history after a project ends or an account is closed.
6. Security
We use reasonable safeguards including HTTPS, access controls, and role-based permissions. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
7. Your choices
- Update profile and wallet details in the App where available.
- Control push notifications in the App and device settings.
- Request account deletion as described below or at /delete-account.
8. Account deletion
Email support@rooftoppowerco.com from your account address with subject Account deletion request and your full name. We aim to complete verified requests within 30 days. Some referral, payout, and security records may be retained where required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.
