Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Rooftop Power Co. (“Rooftop Power,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). They govern your use of the Rooftop Power mobile app, website, claim and invite pages, and related services (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Who these Terms cover
The Service is a referral and project-tracking tool for Rooftop Power’s residential solar, roofing, HVAC, and related programs. Users may be advocates, referred customers, sales reps, or managers. You must be at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live). The Service is not intended for children under 13.
2. Accounts
Keep your login credentials confidential and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account. We may assign roles and suspend accounts that violate these Terms or create security or legal risk.
3. Referrals
When you submit a referral, you represent that you have a reasonable basis to share the referred person’s contact and project information with Rooftop Power. Do not submit fabricated or spam leads. Do not misuse claim links or QR codes.
4. Rewards and payouts
Advocates may earn rewards when qualifying milestones are recorded. The Service may auto-queue payouts for finance review. Payments are typically sent through a third-party provider (PayPal by default; other methods may be enabled). We may delay, adjust, decline, or reverse rewards for fraud, ineligibility, cancellation, or error. Wallet balances are not a bank account.
5. Acceptable use
- No unlawful use or rights violations.
- No false referrals or payout manipulation.
- No unauthorized access, scraping, or disruption.
- No harassment or malware.
6. Third-party services
The Service uses providers such as cloud hosting/auth, payment processors, push notifications, address autocomplete, and optional CRM webhooks. Their terms and privacy policies also apply.
7. Disclaimers and liability
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ROOFTOP POWER DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND IS NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF REFERRAL REWARDS WE PAID YOU IN THE PRIOR 12 MONTHS OR $100.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Utah, United States. Disputes will be resolved in courts located in Utah, except where prohibited.
